Dr Naoki Adachi is the founder and CEO of Response Ability, Inc., and Executive Director of Japan Business Initiative for Biodiversity (JBIB). He has been working as a consultant on environmental management and CSR since 2002 after working as a researcher at the National Institute for Environmental Studies (NIES) and at FRIM (Forest Research Institute Malaysia). He has been involved in many projects for Japanese corporations and ministries to develop sustainability policies and implement them in their daily business.

Junice is Director for Southeast Asia at Corporate Citizenship, the London-based business consultancy specialised in advising companies on sustainability matters. Junice manages the Asian client portfolio. She is also a certified GRI G4 specialist, and trains companies and individuals on Sustainability Reporting in Singapore. Junice spent a large part of her career in China - with Danone (Asia) responsible for the fresh dairy category, and later on with the large-scale government project Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City, where she played an active role in engaging with partners such as Siemens and General Motors in their green initiatives.

Mr Van Aerschot set up the BCSD Singapore as a business platform for collaboration and advocacy in South East Asia. The aim is to improve the environmental, social and the environmental, social and economic sustainability of companies in the region. He initiated the recently launched report “Sustainable Agriculture in ASEAN - Private Sector Perspective for Policy Makers”. Constant is a guest faculty at INSEAD and Senior Advisor to several organisations. He is a green building expert. Eduardo is responsible for the management of PECC International Secretariat and represents PECC at international meetings. He also acts as ASEAN Team Coordinator working with PTIC-Indonesia and PTIC-Thailand.

Alexandra Boakes Tracy is President of Hoi Ping Ventures in Hong Kong. Alexandra was previously Vice President - Strategy at First Eastern Investment Group. Since 2009, Alexandra has been non-executive Chairman of the Association for Sustainable & Responsible Investment in Asia (ASrIA) and is Senior Advisor to the Asia Investor Group on Climate Change and an Active Private Sector Observer to the United Nations Green Climate Fund. Alexandra speaks and writes regularly on sustainable finance issues.

Yumi oversees Sustainalytics’ ESG research of companies in the transportation and industrials sectors. She speaks at conferences / seminars in Singapore and in Japan on topics such as corporate ESG disclosure and how ESG information is used by investors. She contributes articles on ESG to a Japanese online platform, Governance Forum, which supports executives of listed Japanese companies on corporate governance issues. Thomas has 6 years of sustainability experience advising and working with large global companies across industry sectors. He began his career at Business in the Community in UK, where he supported the delivery of CR Index, helping companies to benchmark and improve their sustainability performance. While at Corporate Citizenship, Thomas has worked with a range of global clients on projects which have included developing sustainability strategy, measuring the impact of sustainability and CSR programs and upporting companies to produce and evolve their sustainability reporting. He holds an MSc in Corporate Governance and Business Ethics from Birkbeck College, University of London.

Serving as the President of The Bangchak Petroleum Plc since 2015, Chaiwat has more than 25 years’ experience in engineering, investment banking and senior executive management. Chaiwat earned two Master’s degrees in Engineering from Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) and Business Administration from Thammasat University and honors Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL). In 2002 Chaiwat founded TURNAROUND Company Ltd, a boutique financial advisory / investment banking company in Thailand. He has served as a Non-Executive Director of the Bangchak Petroleum Plc between 2012-2014. He is currently also a Director of the Board of the Government of Thailand’s Pension Fund.

Shehzad Munim is the first ever Bangladeshi Managing Director of BAT Bangladesh of its 106 years’ history. He graduated from the reputed Institute of Business Administration of University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Then he joined British American Tobacco Bangladesh in 1997 and he performed exceptionally well in different challenging marketing roles within & outside the country as in New Zealand, Australia, Pakistan and became the Managing Director of BAT Bangladesh. Shehzad is also an integral member of BAT Bangladesh’s Board of Directors and Board CSR Committee.

Wei-Lun Cheng currently serves as the Director of Finance and Sponsorship at the Taiwan Youth Climate Coalition (TWYCC). He wants to help change the world, and improve the condition of under-privileged minority groups. He wants everyone to have an equal opportunity to strive for the best. One long-held notion that he has learned since he was little is that we should always think from other people’s point of view and learn to understand the values and behavior that they are accustomed to. He hopes that one day, he would be able to raise people’s awareness about climate change by connecting the different values that he has learnt.

Datuk Seri Dr Victor Wee was the Chairman of Tourism Malaysia, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Tourism, the Programme Chairman of the United Nations World Tourism Organisation, Advisor to the Ministry of Finance and Senior Director of Macroeconomics, Economic Planning Unit, Prime Minister’s Department and he was also the Deputy Head of the National Economic Action Council Secretariat during the Asian Financial crisis where he was involved in the drafting of the National Economic Recovery Plan. As a member of the World Bank, he helped review the planning and implementation methodology of Saudi Arabia and assisted in a UNDP mission on the formulation of Saudi’s long-term economic strategy in 2004.

Dr Niven Huang is the General Manager of KPMG Sustainability Consulting Co., Ltd and was the Chairman of the Advisory Board of ASrIA. Dr Huang is a pioneer in Taiwan for promoting CSR, sustainability reporting, SRI, corporate sustainability strategy and carbon management. He was previously Secretary General of the BCSD-Taiwan for 16 years. He sits on the judging panels of several public and private Awards of CSR, Excellence in Environment, and Sustainability in Taiwan and Asia.
