INTRODUCTION
Adhering to ADATA’s brand spirit of “Innovating the Future”, the Company believes that education is important in order to innovate the future and children’s education is the hope of the future. As a part of the Company’s commitment to caring for people and giving back to the society, as well as its dedication to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ADATA wants to ensure that children have a fair and high-quality education, and are prepared to play a role in innovating the future. Since 2005, the Company has rallied its employees and partners to promote and enhance education throughout China and Taiwan.FRAMEWORK AND STRATEGY
The Company’s core values are Agile, Swift, Adventurous and Lively. It develops educational programmes suitable for children of different ages, and realises the vision of utilising technology to create colorful experiences and enrich customer’s lives with a smarter way of life. In the past 20 years, ADATA has rallied its employees and partners to jointly create social value and promote four major projects.1. Early Childhood Education and Care – ADATA has cooperated with the ChungYi Social Welfare Foundation for 18 years. Through close cooperation with this organisation, ADATA has given young children inspiration and opportunities to ensure they have fair access to a high-quality education at a young age.
2. Beneficial Educational Environment Programme – Since 2004, ADATA has worked alongside the Renewal Foundation, local governments in Taiwan and China, and other organisations to help foster a safe, proper, and conducive environment for children.
3. Creativity Inspiration Programme – ADATA believes that it is important to cultivate creative thinking and innovation of children. Mobilising all of the Company’s employees to participate, also inviting disadvantaged children to take part in order to improve the comprehensiveness of education and foster creativity among disadvantaged children.
4. Youth Guidance and Student Aid – Under the sustainable development framework of the education plan, ADATA launched a guidance and student assistance programme for young people. This programme is a joint effort with the Puren Youth Care Foundation, which had 30 years of experience in supporting children. The programme works directly with schools to help enhance the learning opportunities of disadvantaged children.
ACHIEVEMENT AND IMPACT
The Company has continued the Early Childhood Education and Care programme for 18 years, with cumulative donations of nearly TWD 25 million over the years. Also, the Company has built a total of 23 primary schools across 9 provinces in China, donating over 32 million TWD and providing good and safe educational for nearly 1,500 children. Additionally, the Company’s parent-child painting contest under the Creativity Inspiration Programme has been held for two consecutive years. Through online and offline channels, the programme has reached nearly 100,000 people in Taiwan. Lastly, in the past 4 years, the “A Helping Hand for Little Hands” project received donations to reward 1,095 teachers at 335 schools.FUTURE DIRECTION
