Spotless Reputation strategy has been set since mid-2017 by Mr. Gianluca Fiume - Executive Vice President of Piaggio Asia Pacific cum CEO of Piaggio Vietnam to achieve sustainable growth for Piaggio in Asia and Vietnam. The strategy includes paying attention to individuals, the importance of quality, long term vision, and devotion to customers. The Company strives to satisfy and make employees proud to be a part of Piaggio Group. Different approaches were formed to bridge the generational gap and diverse personality traits for all employees to thrive and be happy. The Company embraces a broad and efficient culture that allows every employee, regardless of personality or generational difference, the opportunity to be heard and achieve their individual goals. In order to achieve sustainable growth for the Company and Vietnam, Spotless Reputation Strategy focuses on three main programmes: Piaggio Way, Piaggio Vietnam Talent Management, Training & Development. The Piaggio Way provides young talents across Asia Pacific with an intensive leadership training programme while the Piaggio Vietnam Talent Management provides talents with promising career path featuring fast-track programmes with a clear career goal and attractive benefits. The Training & Development programme are open to all employees to participate to develop their soft skills and technical expertise. In 2019, there was an increase of over 225% in soft skills training compared to that of 2018. The Talent Internship programme nurtures new talents and this programme provides fresh graduates with an advanced and fast paced working environment and also an opportunity to start their career with Piaggio Vietnam.ACHIEVEMENT AND IMPACT
For 5 consecutive years, the Company has been listed in the top 100 best places to work for and is ranked 5 in the automotive and auto components industry. Additionally, the Company was awarded “Best Company to work for in Asia” by HR Asia in 2019. Numerous efforts was made in order to improve the working environment and in 2019, the renovation of the Company’s plant complex as well as representative office in Hanoi was completed in 2019.- Numerous efforts have been made for working environment improvement. In 2019, Piaggio completed renovation of the workplace in Piaggio’s plant complex as well as representative office in Hanoi & HCMC to create a more inspiring and comfort working environment for the employees.
- In terms of business performance, in 2019 Piaggio Asia Pacific and Piaggio Vietnam has made the turnaround across all parameters including milestones in production such as Best production quarter ever, Best production semester ever, celebrated its Millionth scooter manufacturing since establishment.
FUTURE DIRECTION
The Company believes that their employees is of utmost importance in order for them to achieve their corporate vision and move towards a future of sustainability. The Company will continue to plan distinctive training sessions, health programmes, and high-quality operations through third-party certifications and the Company will also use their own platforms, customer and visitor advantages to invest resources for their employees, suppliers and the public to handle large-scale public health and public services events to expand their positive social impact.
