FRAMEWORK AND STRATEGY

From the very moment an individual works in E.SUN, the Company offers complete talent development system, including orientation, finance expertise training, and leadership management skills. In different stages of their career path, employees are given different training courses to strengthen competencies. Also, the Company provides a variety of employee activities, like innovation competitions, sport clubs, choir group, oversea volunteers activities and many more. Through these activities, the Company help employees reach self-actualisation. The Company understands that many employees have families and hefty responsibilities that makes it difficult for them to balance work and family life. The Company creates a family-friendly workplace by offering employee loans, wedding subsidies, childbirth subsidies and NT$100,000 in E.SUN Baby Development Fund. The Company believes that these benefits will help employees reduce the stress from starting a family and build a happy family. In order to help employees have a better and secure retirement, the Company established the employee savings association stock trust, whereby employees are encouraged to join to make monthly contribution and the Company contributes incentive bonuses three times each year to help employees ease their retirement plan.

ACHIEVEMENT AND IMPACT

In 2019, 125,388 employees participated in an average of 49.86 hours of internal training courses. After investing great resources on human capital cultivation, the Company’s net profit reached NTD$20 billion with a growth rate of stock price and market value that is top in Taiwan’s financial industry. The Company also conducts an annual employee engagement survey, which includes questions such as achievement, satisfaction and recognition. The employee engagement rate was 96.93% in 2019 and the Company will continuously dedicate on human capital investment.
