INTRODUCTION
SinoPac Corporate University adopts a systematic training and certification mechanism to plan for employees’ systematic learning, introduce new generations of outstanding talents and management trainees, enhance employees’ professional competencies, and cultivate their competitiveness in the workplace, while achieving the win-win outcome of the sustainable operation of Bank SinoPac and the inheritance of employees’ experience through a talent integration mechanism.FRAMEWORK AND STRATEGY
The Company arranges the training of professional competencies, management competencies, and strategic talents according to employees’ qualifications and experience so as to build a complete learning process for employees, which is helpful for talent examination and talent mobility. Build a personal “Professional Programme Blueprint” based on positions and duties to make learning more systematic, training contents include four major aspects of compulsory courses, elective courses, statutory courses, external licenses, and internal certification exams. Additionally, the recruitment of new generations of employees in accordance to the strategic direction of the Company and the customisation of training courses with the main focus of professional and practical learning experience and management and project skills improvement. In addition to classroom learning, the management trainee adopts a management dashboard and management publications to assist managers with continuous self-examination.ACHIEVEMENT AND IMPACT
The Company grows together with employees to enhance employees’ workplace competitiveness. The SinoPac Corporate University programme has received positive responses from the Company’s profit, course satisfaction, and participants’ feedback. The Programme saw a profit of NT$10 billion in 2019, EPS was at an all time high in the past five years, while the average course satisfaction reached 4.9 out of 5. Lastly, the qualitative feedback of the management programme after class, most managerial officers said that management thinking was helpful to their management skills.FUTURE DIRECTION
SinoPac Corporate University programme provides various professional courses according to employees’ duties and responsibilities, providing each employee with clear professional course contents. In the future, more courses on soft skills will be added to this programme according to the Company’s strategic development, to strategically guide employees to enhance their interdisciplinary abilities, while increasing the opportunities for senior employees to absorb new technologies and new skills through project participation and enhancing the practical experience of new generations of employees, so as to enable both employees and the company to grow together.
