INTRODUCTION
The Company is committed to the goal of “zero waste and zero emissions” by making good use of resources and reducing waste. Green papermaking is sustainable for the environment, from the choice of raw materials and production processes, and make full use of the resources and by-products to create a new circular economic model. The development is about building a value-added business that benefits the well being of both the socially and the economy.FRAMEWORK AND STRATEGY
Sustainable development is of utmost importance for the Company. CHP’s core policy is to implement a sustainable management system, called “R3”. With “3R cycle” (Recycle, Reclaim and Regenerate) as the core strategy. The Company actively strives to develop a consistent production system for pulp and paper products from the forest and other bio resources. It is expected that in the future, CHP will be one of the leader among global P/P industries to establish a service streaming platform. Furthermore, by adhering to the “ECO” business philosophy, the Company will continue to communicate with stakeholders and implement new step by step blueprint for a circular economy development.ACHIEVEMENT AND IMPACT
Self-sufficient bio-energy development CHP continues to increase the use of green energy and reduces its dependence on petrochemical fuels year after year. All production facilities have a co-generation system that supplies 50 to 90% of the electricity required for operations and productions. Additionally, the Company shares electricity to the local community in special occasions. To address the issue of climate change, the Company sets a high standard. It is of great urgency to increase energy efficiency and reduce the use of fossil fuels. After continuous efforts, CHP have renewable fuel to replace coal by 35 thousand ton and reduced the use of fossil fuel by 24% in 2019.FUTURE DIRECTION
A waste from one industry could turn into a resource, and become an innovative architectural material. This project does not only strive to bridge the gap between universities and industries but also to bring people from different colleges and architecture team together to regenerate material with waste. Industrial Circular Material which is made from reclaimed industrial waste consists of ash and mix mud from pulp and paper production. The Company’s future direction is to continuously focus developing sustainable building materials.
CHP mainly engages in the production and sales of pulp, cardboard,
printing papers, and special papers. At present, the Company is
committed to technological transformations in the development of paper
for special functional applications and composite materials.
