Andrew founded PwC’s regional sustainability practice in 2007, and has personally led over 200 corporate and developmental sustainability engagements across the region, and is a key figure in developing the corporate sustainability agenda across South East Asia, including sustainability disclosure guidelines, impact assessments for sustainability initiatives and material ESG indicators for companies in SE Asia, capability building of the sustainable investment framework and policy, sustainability risks and assessment across various sectors, creating shared values strategies, developing green growth and green financing plans, and helping clients to be on the DJSI Emerging Markets Index
Andrew’s well-known and noted abilities has got him invited to speak in a number of international forums, private summits and governmental events including The Cooler Earth Summit, Securities Commission events, Capital Markets Malaysia’s Roundtable Discussion; The Global Business Initiative on Human Rights Business Roundtable, ASEAN Intergovernmental Panel on Human Rights, WIEF Young Leaders’ Forum, ASIA 21 Young Leaders’ Summit, Thailand MICE Sustainability Forum, Management Association of the Philippines, Vietnam Corporate Sustainability Forum.
Prior to joining PwC, he was a consultant with Gemini Consulting (London), where he worked on strategic, operational and change management issues. Andrew took a career break in 2012-13 to take up a post as Visiting Scientist at MIT Sloan School of Management. In his spare time, Andrew enjoys the outdoors and hikes, scuba dives, and plays tennis. He is also a keen volunteer and has participated in a program to build houses for the hardcore poor in Northern Mongolia.
