Ali Mohamed Ali

Ali is the founder of OxEarth a sustainability and communication advisory and the CEO of Destination EMEA, the sustainable travel consultancy and a sister company of OxEarth. He leads a team of environmental and sustainability consultants helping and empowering businesses to implement net-zero carbon targets and sustainable business transformation strategies by connecting science theories to business practices. Ali is serving as an independent consultant to UNGC, IAD, WRI, their member states and local governments and NGOs
His work in strategic change and sustainable transformation was recognised by Oxford University, Texas State University, and the Red Sea governate, Egypt. He is working as an independent consultant in Greening Red Sea`s project and hotels' zero food waste initiative. He is also a visiting lecturer in various universities in the Middle East and Europe.
In previous works, Ali was the co-founder of the awarded business, Vinys Hospitality LLP and Travellers Group, both acquired by large corporations.
Ali is a lifelong learner, gained a master’s degree in environmental management, MBA in Sustainability various courses in sustainability, and Oxford University executive programme on Leading Corporate Sustainability. He also works on designing sustainability-related courses for SDGAcademy-UN and secondary schools globally.
Ali has been committed to sustainability transformation since 2008. He is an applicant for ESG for Hospitality Award and Environmental Champion by ESG World 2022 and Responsible Travel Award by World Travel Market 2022
