Tan Sri Dr. Fong Chan Onn served as the Minister of Human Resources of Malaysia from December 1999 to March 2008. Prior to that, he was the Deputy Minister of Education. He is also the Deputy Chairman of University Tunku Abdul Rahman’s Council, Chairman of Star Publications (Malaysia) Berhad and of Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA Malaysia).
