Dr. Wijarn Simachaya has been the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment since October 2016. He has served as Inspector General, and twice as Director-General of the Pollution Control Department, and Secretary General of the Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning.
