Dr. Naoki Adachi is the founder and CEO of Response Ability, Inc., and Executive Director of Japan Business Initiative for Biodiversity (JBIB). He has been working as a consultant on environmental management and sustainability since 2002 after working as a researcher at the National Institute for Environmental Studies (NIES) and at FRIM (Forest Research Institute Malaysia). He has been involved in and led numbers of projects by leading Japanese corporations and ministries to develop sustainability policies and implement them in their daily operations. He is a member of various governmental committees and an advisor to sustainability related societies and forums both in Japan and internationally.
