According to surveys, nearly 75% of charitable organizations faced the challenge of declining donations after the pandemic. momo takes the initiative to fully leverage its platform’s ability to connect various resources by developing an online charitable platform called “Enjoy Charity”. This integrates the e-commerce platform’s capabilities in payment, logistics, and information flow and brings together internal and external promotional resources.Through “Enjoy Charity”, momo has brought together dozens of organizations, including those focused on underprivileged women and children, rare diseases, disabilities, and the elderly. It cultivates consumers’ long-term donation habits through periodic donations and helps NPOs have a continuous source of donations. The company’s aim is to connect numerous social welfare organizations with momo’s consumers, making charitable donations more easy and convenient.

FRAMEWORK AND STRATEGY
momo’s online charitable platform offers diverse methods such as periodic donations, direct charity purchases, and monthly campaigns to assist foundations in fundraising. By combining the e-commerce platform’s “subscription model” with charitable donations, this approach not only attracts small-scale donors but also helps charitable organizations receive stable financial support. Additionally, to maximize the impact of public welfare activities, momo’s “Enjoy Charity” plans 1-2 featured projects each month. By increasing consumers’ awareness and providing incentives for donations, momo rallies its members to participate in charitable projects, channeling more resources towards social welfare.Amidst the highly competitive retail market, momo always embraces innovation and digitalization to keep up with the trend. The company also applies these traits to “Enjoy Charity”, ensuring that resources are effectively utilized. With its specialty in proficient data analysis, momo’s e-commerce and information teams identify and target audiences interested in philanthropy, allowing the company to precisely deliver advertisements and increase donors’ willingness to participate. ACHIEVEMENT AND IMPACT
In 2022, momo assisted 59 non-profit organizations in promoting over 50 public welfare projects, raising more than NTD19.98 million in online donations. A total of 118,621 consumers responded to donation appeals, and over 380,000 members donated their invoices to the foundation while shopping, benefiting an estimated 115,363 individuals in need.Furthermore, momo collaborated with foundations to distribute over 20,000 supplies to its various locations across Taiwan, including daily necessities, personal care products, mattresses, clothing, and so on. momo supports social welfare by bridging the gap between consumers and charitable organizations, aiming to become part of the safety net of society.
FUTURE DIRECTION
The online platform’s freedom from the limitations of physical space allows for greater flexibility in collaborations with charitable organizations. “Enjoy Charity” has gathered more than 33 foundations, covering various topics of social welfare. Moving forward, momo aims to enhance the diversity of charitable organization categories, expanding the scope to include environmental advocacy, animal protection, and more, thus contributing to creating a more livable society.Additionally, with over ten thousand suppliers on momo’s platform, the company also values partnerships with suppliers who embrace sustainability. By integrating the resources from both parties, the company collaborates on public welfare projects with business partners, joining hands with diverse partners to make positive differences in society.
