INTRODUCTION

The Company combines their core competencies along with the rising issues within the society, with social welfare such as youth employment, senior living standards and cultural activities. This programme will help to solve the problems of youth employment, to promote senior financing and to accelerate the approval renew old and hazardous buildings. Additionally, with the Company’s experiences and professionalism, they support the development of innovation, creation, and startup businesses. The Company assists youngsters and startups by improving their operating management to increase their recognition and competitiveness and to enhance their employment rate. To add on to that, the Company provides financial services in order to improve the standards of senior welfare agencies. Lastly, the Company established the “Innovative Finance Project Office” with the goal of strengthening the support for material loans of green financing, urban renewal and cultural innovation industries.

FRAMEWORK AND STRATEGY

With the help of external counseling resources, the Company proactively strengthens and assists the growth of Taiwanese SMEs. For the young generation, the Company provides an exclusive product, Youth Overseas Experience Loan, with the goal of easing their financial burden in order for them to experience a foreign lifestyle. The Company has initiated the Seniors Dining & Learning Center Sponsorship which they allocated 3% of the general card consumption from the Silver Love Credit Card issued by the Company to help seniors to dine and learn. This originated from the non-profit fund that was originally used to build schools for seniors within the community and this takes care of vulnerable seniors in the local community, improving their living standards and providing appropriate caring services. Furthermore, the Company established the “Innovative Finance Project Office” which sponsors various cultural innovation activities and they launched their first product of intangible assets loan in Taiwan, in order to assist SMEs in the research and development sector with intangible assets.

ACHIEVEMENT AND IMPACT

In 2019, the Company provided 12,800 people with financing, which helped the general public to start their own businesses and to also enhance their competitive capabilities. The “Senior Learning Centers” are located in 10 suburban districts and the accumulated number of benefited seniors is approximately 0.2 million per year for health promotion for the elderly, social interaction, happy learning, happy dining, and delays in disability, and the accumulated sponsorship has amounted to more than NT$10 million.

FUTURE DIRECTION

Adhere to the purpose of “listening to the corporates and respond to the need of the land,” the Company keeps abreast of societal trends and develops business operations; provides customer-oriented specialised financial products and services, and focuses on the “youngster, seniors, and startups” programme with the core business to promote the integration of corporation and society; and internalises the fulfillment of social responsibility as their corporate spirit. The Company will continue to be a leading brand in the field of SME financing and establish a solid foundation for the sustainable development of the Company.
