Fired with a zeal and passion for succeeding, he was all of 22 when he took a plunge in the rough and tumble of running the business. He started an inbound division in Bandoola Travel. His vision was to give enthusiastic travellers a quality holiday worth their while as well as their money. It was in 2002 when the opportunity beckoned. Suneet seized the chance and enshrined Red Apple Travel, a B2B business, with just a laptop and a steely determination. Though the company had a modest start in Myanmar, it was with steadfast faith that Suneet opened an inbound division in Sri Lanka. The company was soon handling 15000 tourists annually. This speaks volume of his sharp analytical mind, enhanced by high standards of ethics, constantly seeking newer vistas to realize his potential and drive.
With an ear to the ground and eye on advancement in the field of travel, Suneet took the company to another level making Red Apple Travel one of the largest Destination Management Company (DMC) globally. Under his astute vision, the company today has 19 destination offices and 20 sales offices globally. Plans are afoot to spread their wings in other destinations soon. To offer a holistic facility to his customers, Suneet built various infrastructures in the business. He initiated and enlisted multi-lingual team members in the worldwide network of Red Apple offices. Today, there are more than 400 strong eclectic team members who can speak diverse dialects.
Making yet another distinction, the company also has its own fleet of coaches, sedans and vans, all to serve the travellers better and make their way around at the holiday destination enjoyable.
